5. Helping special plans work out

Whenever it’s possible and reasonable, say Yes to your co-parent’s request to trade parenting time so special plans and needs can be met. Give your co-parent plenty of notice when you have special plans or needs that call for trading some parenting time.

Give yourself up to 10 points on your Score Sheet for the extent you can say, “I do my best to make changes to schedules so special plans and needs of our children can work out, even if there’s some inconvenience to me.”

Remember, on the "Final Thought" page, you can watch a short video.

“The worst prison would be a closed heart.”
